This is a war museum in which a tunnel of 25m in length is open to the public.
The width is about 1m plus and the height is about 1.6m.
Most of the time you have to keep your head low.
There is a video room showing the war in Bosnia Hecergovina.
There are also some displays for visitors to see and a house converted into a small museum.
Located very near to Sarajevo Airport.

You will experience a chilling vibe when you climb through the Tunnel of Hope.
Built in 1993, this underground passageway connected the occupied city of Sarajevo with Bosnian held territories on the other side of Sarajevo Airport. An entire city's worth of supplies (food, humanitarian aid, war supplies, and even livestock) had to pass through this 1km long, 5-foot high tunnel during the war.

Nice place to visit. You get a very clear idea of what the Sarajevo Siege must've been like. We had a guide with us: I'm not sure if it'd be as good on your own.

Tunnel dug out by prisoners of the war! Not much truth in the story of this tunnel. Sad story what happened to one of the nicest multicultural cities. Most old Sarajevo residents no matter what religion would agree. Although not many left in the city these days.

It was historical and so much information is supplied to help you better understand it's purpose. It is fun and interesting for children also. The tunnel is quite narrow so strollers will not fit. I wish you could go through a larger amount of the tunnel, rather than just 25 ft. I loved it though, it was so cool to experience the history in an interactive way.
