Basic and functional. It is perfect for a good night's sleep if passing through. Hotelier and his wife are extremely helpful and welcoming.

The upstairs area in a family room gets really hot at night, even when the A/C is set to 10° celcius.

Hotel ok but families with very small children, particularly toddlers, be very aware of the family rooms with stairs as they are lethally steep (almost a ladder). Any inquisitive toddler will make a bee-line for them and if you're unlucky like us they'll fall. Really could do with a stair gate. Luckily no lasting harm done other than a bump & scab to show for his troubles.
