Day 1: Tbilisi airport- Tbilisi center (20 km. 20 minutes’ driving)
Arrival. Transfer from the Tbilisi Airport. Check-in. Free time for resting.
In the evening we will have an excursion
in the capital of
Georgia Tbilisi. We will visit historical district of Old Tbilisi, where started history of the town 17 centuries ago. We will see temple Metekhi. According to traditional accounts, King Vakhtang I Gorgasali erected a church, a fort which served also as a king’s residence. Later we will visit district Abanotubani where are located famous Georgian sulfur baths
and side by side Georgian, Armenian
and catholical churches; Muslim mosque
and jewish synagogue. This is a confirmation, how tolerant is this small capital. After this we will see fortress Narikala, which is an ancient symbol of Tbilisi’s defensive brilliance
and from where the whole city is
in front of it
in full view.
After excursion we will have dinner
in traditional Georgian restaurant, where we will taste Georgian dishes
and wine, which has a history for about 7000 years. Overnight
in Tbilisi.
Day 2: Campaign
in Betania (64 km. (1 hour driving, 3. 15 hour walking)
In the morning we will start campaign
in the Betania Monastery, which is located
in 16 km southwest of Tbilisi. It is a remarkable piece of architecture of the "Golden Age" of the Kingdom of
Georgia, at the turn of the 12th
and 13th centuries,
and is notable for its wall paintings, which include one of tree portraits of Queen Tamar. Bethany traditionally has been ancestral burial ground of the Georgian rulers Orbeliani.
In the midday we will have picnic. We will prepare Barbeques
and have lunch
in Georgian style.
In the evening we will return to Tbilisi.
Free time
in the evening. Optionally guests can visit sulfur baths, one of the indulgent pleasures of the region, much like the hammams of Turkey
and the Middle East.

in Tbilisi.
Day 3: Tbilisi- -Gergeti Trinity Church- Tbilisi (320 km. 5 hours driving)
This day we are having jeep tour
in Kazbegi district. On the way we will see Ananuri complex, which was a castle
and seat of the Eristavis (Dukes) of Aragvi. Then we will move to Gergeti Church (IXc. ), which is located at an elevation of 2170 meters, close to Georgia’s 3rd highest Mount Kazbegi. Built
in the 14th century, its isolated location on top of a steep mountain surrounded by the vastness of nature has made it a symbol for
Georgia. On the way we will have a picnic
in the nature. After visiting Gergeti Church we will come back to the Tbilisi direction
and on the way we will rest
in Phasanauri
and we will have dinner
in the restaurant tasting famous Kinkali.

in Tbilisi.
Day 4: Tbilisi-Mtskheta-Jandari Lake (130 km. 2. 20 minutes driving)
In the morning we will move to the first capital of
Georgia –Mtskheta, a town-museum. It has been listed
in the cultural heritages of UNESCO. At first we will visit church Jvari (VI c), situated on a hilltop at the confluence of the river Kura
and Aragvi.
Afterwards we will visit the Patriarchal Cathedral Church Svetitskhoveli (VI-XI cc). Svetitskhoveli, known as the burial site of Christ's mantle, has long been the principal Georgian church
and remains one of the most venerated places of worship to this day. We will have lunch
in café-bar
in Mtskheta.
After lunch we will return to Tbilisi
and get ready for fishing. After meeting with fisherman we will move to Jandara Lake
and we will fish until night. After catching some fishes we will make fire, prepare fishes
and meat on it
and have dinner with unforgettable taste
and of course with some vodka.
We will overnight
in tents.
Day 5: Tbilisi- Sighnaghi-Tbilisi (225 km. 3. 15 hour driving)
From the morning we will move to the historical part of
Georgia Kakheti. On the way we will stop to have lunch
and then we will visit Bodbe monastery. This is where St. Nino, enlightener of all Georgians, died
and was buried. After this we will move to the love city Sighnaghi. Surrounded by walls Sighnaghi has very interesting architecture. Buildings
in the city are built
in the style of southern Italian classicism with Georgian elements.
For having dinner we will visit one Georgian ordinary family. We all will participate
in the process of preparing Georgian dishes
and table
and we will acquaint with Georgian table traditions.
In the evening we will return to Tbilisi.
Day 6: Tbilisi- Borjomi-Tbilisi (130 km. 1. 40 hour driving)
This day we will have rafting tour on the River Kura
in Borjomi. Rafting or white water rafting is the challenging recreational outdoor activity of using an inflatable raft to navigate a river or other bodies of water. This extreme sport is quite popular whole over the world. After arriving
in Borjomi we will get instructions from rafting professionals (Tour will be made with standard rafting boats
and leaded by qualified instructors. Rafting on the river Kura is very safety for not professionals). Before starting rafting we will have lunch on the bank of the river. After midday we will have rafting experience, full with new
feelings and adrenaline.
After this we will walk down Borjomi park, where we will taste famous Borjomi naturally carbonated mineral water which is over 1, 500 years old. Borjomi does not cool down before it reaches the surface
and comes out at a temperature of 38–41 °C. At last we will have dinner
in the restaurant
and return to Tbilisi.

in Tbilisi.
Day 7: Tbilisi center-Tbilisi International Airport (20 km. 20 minutes’ driving)
Free time for buying souvenirs, transfer to the airport. Return to homeland with unforgettable memories.
