Monemvasia, also known as the Gibraltar
of Greece, is one

of me”. Indeed,
Kythera is the island
of surprises. Amongst the low hills that characterise its shape, an infinite amount
of natural beauties are hidden, like waterfalls, creeks, springs, forests and caves as well as cultural monuments like byzantine churches, impressive medieval castles, infinite villages that kept the old architecture and character… There are also archaeological sites, like the Minoan Peak Sanctuary, or the cave
of Aphrodite in Diakofti.
of course, the wealth
of the island lies in its people, well known for their hospitability. In the mysterious island
of Aphrodite, the visitor becomes the central character
of a beautiful history. When leaving the island, those who would have understood the meaning
of Kythera, would have won them forever.
