Kuldiga is the ancient town of Courland. It lies on the River Venta where the waterfall Rumba has formed. The route of the guided tour in Kuldiga includes excursions to:

The river flows along the walls of many houses, due to this Kuldiga is called “The Latvian Venice”. Originally it was built as the suburb of Kuldiga castle.
