Reserved two nights for a superior queen with breakfast for 2. They tried to check us in to a standard twin at the same rate, telling us they didn't have a queen ready. Night clerk didn't know where rollaway beds were. Also told us they weren't serving breakfast. I didn't notice right away that he didn't return my id and credit card, and it took 3 rounds of going down the next day and explaining what happened, with the clerk assuring me they didn't have them, before the supervisor checked the camera footage and found them in their printer. To his credit, at that point he was very dilligent in tracing and returning them. Told them exactly when we were checking out but there was no clerk there at that time, and it took 10 minutes of ringing the bell, calling their number, and searching the hotel before we found the clerk, who complained he was on break. Beware their bait and switch and avoid checking in or out at night. Plus side they have an excellent live saxophone player and a decent rooftop view.

Beautiful, charming hotel. Old colonial-era style building but everything in the room was modern and spotless. Great full breakfast served in the first-floor restaurant, also wonderful service provided at all times. The location cant be beat either, would definitely recommend staying here over other hotels in the area because you can tell its independently owned and that a lot of love was put into the renovation, 5 stars well deserved...and the view from the terrace!!

Beautiful property! we traveled to the warm islands of the Caribbean. Found this absolutely charming family-owned hotel whose staff service is incredible. Room was clean and common areas well taken care of. Walking distance to ports, forts, Cathedral... not to mention nice chic bars and restaurants as well as authentic cuisine (blends of Cuban and Puerto Rican) One thing I noticed is that the remodeling work is perfect: you can actually have a sense of the 1800 hundreds architecture and Colonial taste. We totally enjoyed our trip and will definitely come back in the near future.
