Hotel Plaza De Armas Old San Juan

This hotel is in a great location in Old San Juan, which is sometimes hard to gauge before actually arriving to the city. It is right next door to the beautiful Plaza de Armas, near some great food options, and since it is relatively in the center of the attractions, it just a short walk from anything else you will want to see regardless of where you end up. The staff was very friendly and accommodating when we had questions. The staircase and elevator worried us as they were a little small/outdated, but room was the perfect size for two people.

It's the best plaza in OSJ. The two kiosk have great local snacks, cafe, pastries and some fresh fruit. The water fountain is unique and freshing. Plenty of cafes, wine cellar, supermarket and drug store around the plaza. Occasionally, local musicians entertain the locals & tourist. Great place to just enjoy the cool breeze.

Perfect location in the heart of old San Juan, close to everything to a certain point. The service is great, the staff is super nice and helpful, but if your looking for a place just to put your things and spent the night then this is the one, nothing luxurious about it, the place isn't exactly clean, rooms not clean, we had to request to change the sheets and covers beacsuse they're weren't clean, even the ones we received weren't much cleaner.

I stayed last summer and the service, location, room etc were very good. I have no complains. Love that is right in the middle of Old San Juan. Good prices too.

This hotel was great. The staff was friendly and extremely accomodating, most of the major attractions/great food were within walking distance, and the place was meticulous. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars because it was unreasonably LOUD at what most consider "bedtime". One night I had to call downstairs to ask the concierge to confront VERY loud guests on the top floor hallway. Overall great experience, and very budget friendly. Will definitely be back, albeit with earplugs!
