Terrible place, rude staff. Would never trust.

Wonderful customer service! I had my laser eye surgery one year ago and I am very happy with the results. Staff very really kind and reassuring every visit. I would recommend to anyone thinking about laser eye surgery.

I'm 6 months on from my surgery and thought I'd wait to write a review in case anything went wrong months later - it hasn't! To say I was nervous about people lasering into my eyes would have been an understatement but I was totally reassured and impressed by the staff's calmness, friendliness and professionalism.

At the 1st appointment everything was really clearly explained and there was no pressure to make a decision at any point. The payment procedure was straightforward and everything happened as it was supposed to.

On the day of the surgery I was terrified but everyone was really calm which helped immensely. While those 10 minutes of surgery are not something I would choose to repeat (!) it was nowhere near as bad as what I had imagined in my head. To be walking out without my glasses within 90 minutes of surgery was amazing and while your sight does weird and wonderful things for a couple of days I was back to driving within 4 days and haven't had any problems since.

The thing that took longest to adjust to was that for weeks I woke each morning and reached for my glasses before realising I could see already! Habits die hard! So after 30 years of wearing glasses I'm really glad I took the plunge. Thank you Accuvision!

I had Trans-Epithelial Surface lasek treatment done here 3 years ago. I asked for information on surgeon's performance and they would not give me it, actually the guy I dealt with seemed pretty put out at having been asked. On the day of surgery just before I was wearing my glasses and the surgeon said to me 'hopefully' I would not need them anymore which did not fill me with confidence. I was right not to be confident. After the operation the pain was absolutely excruciating for about a day and night. I ran out of pain relief before going back the next day, I couldn't speak it was so bad. My eyes took some months to heal, I had a lot of trouble with one of them. The results were not good. I went from being -1.25 in one eye to +1. Hardly worth it. The other eye is +0.50 and I still have astigmatism in both eyes. I still need glasses for computer and reading. I think the real test of the customer service in a place is when things go wrong, those that say how great it was who were lucky enough to have had a good result. I was not impressed. I kept going back to tell them I was having headaches. The Irish lady told me I had a very small prescription still, wouldn't specify what it was and in the end I had to go and get my eyes tested at an optician and found at that point in the healing they were +2.5 with astigmatism, so the headaches were not surprising. I was also told I had 20/20 vision; who cares if you can see ahead at the expense of not seeing well up close which is what happened.

I have just had my 1 week follow up after the procedure, and I am delighted with the results.

All the staff that I dealt with were lovely, both friendly and professional but more importantly careful, diligent and understanding.

I now have better than 20/20 vision and can say goodbye to glasses and contacts which is wonderful.

I can't fault the surgery or the way I was treated, and feel very grateful that this technology exists.

Thank you!
