Great colorist, but TERRIBLE experience start to finish. As a new customer I scheduled an appointment a week in advance for a full highlight and cut. I was informed during my shampoo that the stylist meant to cut my hair had an emergency since the day before and was not available. No one bothered to tell me this on my arrival until after I'd been colored. The environment to me became very frosty when I tried to make it clear that waiting halfway through my appointment was unacceptable to tell me...

I sat, parched (no water refill after problems arose), in a chair while no one bothered to even tell me about the error until my poor colorist had to. They wanted me to walk out with a fresh color and dead ends because no one else was available to cut my hair. I got an apology from the manager and ended up waiting an extra 45 mins for another stylist to cut my hair only because her appointment didn't show. I was told I would receive the cut at a discount, but was quoted what looked like the stylist's original price when I looked the prices up online. Hmm.

I was then informed that the receptionist who originally scheduled me didn't put down "color AND cut." Nobody from start to finish even verified my services when I came in. Wow.

At checkout another woman took my money and the whole process just looked so sketchy and unprofessional. Adding with her fingers, taking several minutes for change, not reading me a complete total. She told me my "total," then took 3 hundreds from me, and THEN said she "included the tip" I specified and handed me back the change which was less. For all I know it was completely accurate, but who knows? Nothing in front of me to see what I was paying for. All shuffled entirely behind the screen without counting out to me or being specific.

The whole thing was supposed to be a color, cut (now discounted), with a new customer discount, plus tips of course. I asked the woman for an itemized total of my bill to see that the discounts had been applied and she said "we don't do paper receipts." I would think she could at least have read my totals out loud to verify. She told me she would email me my receipt, and I spelled my email out for her twice.

Never received that email receipt. Last straw.

I walked out ~$260 and 4 hours out of pocket and nothing to verify what I spent and why. I'm a veteran to highlights and Aveda salons and have never spent this much money to be handled so poorly at nearly every turn. I feel CHEATED. The only saving grace to the whole ordeal was the colorist, but frankly after being treated like this it isn't worth returning, which is so unfortunate.

Save your money and go elsewhere if you want your appointments and services honored.

Little pricey, but you get what you pay for. Great staff and always accommodating!

I had been over-treated and over-blonded by other salons and Chris just looked at my complexion and with a few hints from me, he gave me the perfect hair color that I had always wanted but no one could get. I cannot remember my stylist's name but I had never met her before either and she cut my hair perfectly......so happy!!!!!

Lee Busby is the best blonde colorist I have ever had. I am SUPER picky and he nails it, every time! Jill is wonderful at cuts, especially if you have fine hair. I love this salon and their customer service.
