What a delightfully quaint restaurant. A great place to come for a romantic night with the big club leather round booths. Dark wood throughout and the interactive meals are a great conversation.

Really good cuts of meat, the happy hour special isn't a throw away cut either! About the only knock would be the bread seemed a little stale/dry/previously frozen

Went there for my brother's birthday. First time there. Great atmosphere, casual, median pricing, live music on Friday might, great service. Menu is mainly a variety of steaks, no fish or chicken. They do have what is described as surf and turf, with turf being scallops, no other seafood. Also limited sides, only salad or vegetable skewer. What is fun and different is that you cook you own food on an open grill so you get a chance to mingle with other people around the grill.

There is also a nice wine and alcohol menu. Nice place for a date, special occasion or just to hang out. Would go there again.

This place is a cash only cook your own food restaurant. If you are lazy and want a prepared ready to eat meal, and carry no legal tender on your person, then avoid this place. With that said, this place would make for a good Thursday 2nd or 3rd date night.
The Good: The staff is friendly, they know how to make a good cocktail. The establishment feels like a speakeasy and the jukebox is free.
The Bad: This place is dimly lit, which can be a good thing on a date night, however, I think this is where the lighting and their business model fall flat.
The Ugly: My food arrived after I had been two cocktails, and one pint of beer deep, while working on my second pint. It was fascinating to me on how long it took for me to be served raw food and there was only one other couple dining at this establishment. Here is where it becomes more difficult for me. This place is dimly lit (I hear an echo) like being in a gentlemen's club, I am three sheets to the wind and now I have to cook steak on a large grill where I can barely see the steak doneness. Not wanting to overcook my steak, and being unable to have a good sense of time I ate my steak rare, which I enjoyed, but the next day my body did not.

The whole bar and dining area has very dim red lighting. It makes for a nice relaxing environment. If you want to eat you have to cook your food on a large rectangular open grill in the middle of the dining area. Its a fun experience but for around $20 a plate you're kind of left wanting it professionally prepared. Good drinks and nice staff. It is pricey but it's a good place for an intimate date or gathering of friends. Make a reservation.
