It's unanimous. The day we spent on Deja Blue with Capt Wilson was hands down the best day we had in the Virgin Islands. Capt Wilson delivered a perfect day on the water filled with snorkeling and beautiful islands and great beaches. He knew just where to take us to make each one of us happy. My favorite was lunch at Taboo. Delicious and highly recommended if you go to Jost Van Dyke.The boat is great. It's big and comfortable and there was lots of room for all 6 of us. My eldest usually gets motion sickness on boats but he felt great the whole day. This trip was just what we were looking for. A very relaxing day of exploring in the Virgin Islands.Island Wilson Excursions gets our highest recommendation!

Just want to add my yearly review for Captain Wilson! He is still the best at what he does! I would not dream of using anyone else---keep reading to see how well he's treated us over the years:

Year after year it gets better and better with Island Wilson Excursions! I've lost track how many times we've gone out with Capt Wilson, but he makes every trip new and special. I'm renewing my reviews only to make it clear that everything I've said before still holds true!!! My previous reviews follow: Trip Number 4!! Once again we had a wonderful time on Deja Blue with Captain Wilson. This time we were on a cruise and he made sure we had a relaxing time away from the crowds. We did some snorkeling, which is always great with him, as he knows the best places to go and can explain exactly what you are seeing. The rest of the time was spent sightseeing and general lounging about, it was perfect. I can't say enough about Island Wilson Excursions except we can't wait for next year!!
Here is our previous review from 2013: We recently took our third trip with Captain Wilson and Deja Blue. We always have THE BEST time of our vacation. Whether it is sightseeing, sampling food and drink, snorkeling, just relaxing on the boat, or a combination, Captain Wilson makes it so much fun. He also makes it easy to communicate and plan your day---always there to answer a question or suggest an itinerary, if needed. Absolutely a wonderful way to experience the Virgin Islands.
We can hardly wait for trip number four---already booked and counting the days!!!

We have booked both full and half day charters with Captain Wilson and have loved every moment of both times. Captain Wilson is knowledgeable about the diving locations, snorkeling locations, knows the fish, coral, great quiet beaches and he is even a historian about the USVI and BVI. I love how detailed he is. We told him which snorkeling locations we liked and he pulled out his log book to look up his notes and see where he took us. Before you jump in the water he'll pull out his handy photo album and show you photos of the coral or fish you'll see and tell you about each so you know what to expect. We enjoyed our time so much on the boat that we are getting married by Captain Wilson on his boat next May. But not before visiting in November to go out with him for a day of fun, sun, and great snorkeling.

Oh and did I mention that he takes photos of you both in the water and out and uploads them for you so you can focus on having fun and not worry about appointing someone official photographer.

We have been traveling to the Virgin Islands for well over 25 years, and have taken our fair share of boat trips while we were there. A few years ago, I stumbled upon "Island Wilson Excursions". I knew nothing about this Captain, his boat or anything else about him, except when I looked at his website, I thought to myself, "He looks like a great guy". So I picked him, to spend a day on the water with. Wow! What a pleasant surprise! Captain Wilson greeted us like we were old friends! It was by far the best day of our vacation. Captain Wilson makes it, "Your Day", whatever you want to do, where ever you want to go. No touristy time limits. He is knowledgeable about the islands, has a great sense of humor, and makes sure that everyone is having the best time. We look forward to seeing Captain Wilson every year. You will have the time of your life!

From the first time you speak to Captain Wilson you feel as if he knows exactly what you are looking for. When you meet him and he takes you on your extraordinary excursion you feel satisfied that your first impressions were bang on!

The boat is fast and fun, and it's a cat, a double hulled boat so it feels so much more stable. We got to power through a few big waves between the islands and I just wanted him to go back and do it again. But we were in it for the snorkelling not just the exhilarating ride. "What is your pleasure?" he asked. Coral, turtles spectacular tropical fish - he know the spots for all. We even did a drift snorkel, where Captain Wilson started us off at one end of the channel and picked us up at the other. He drifted on his boat nearby keeping a close watch on us. He has good quality gear for us to use which made the experience all the better underwater. He knows his stuff for sure, we got great descriptions of what to expect underwater and the commentary on the history of the islands and the who's who of the seaside mansions was most interesting. I've toured with Captain Wilson three or more times and each time I learn more. He is on my list of the best things to do when in the USVI.
