We rented a Mazda 3 for about 9 days while our vehicle was under repair. The vehicle had an intense tobacco odor. The vehicle was very reliable and fit our needs otherwise. Upon returning the vehicle, we were charged a smoking fee. We were instructed by Hertz to drop off the vehicle at the same place we went to pick up my repaired vehicle and a few days later, we noticed a $300 fee had been charged to debit card without our authorization. We called 3 times to have this erroneous charge removed. There was no apology from the staff for presuming that we had been smoking in the vehicle. We were told that we dropped off the rental car at an alternate Hertz location which was not true. It was this location that suggested that we has smoked in the car and charged us for it without even checking with us. In fact, if we hadn't called in to check on it, the charge would not have been reversed. At one point, we were told that their staff had tried to make things easier on our pocketbook by lowering the daily rental rate for us as a special courtesy. When we asked what the rate was, it turned out that it was the negotiated rate that they charge State Farm customers. In other words, ALL State Farm customers could get this rate. We weren't looking to get a lower rate because it was super cheap at $5/day. We were disappointed that the Hertz folks made it appear as if they had done us some favors. Overall, we are super disappointed. We have always had a good experience with Hertz. We will not be renting any vehicles from them again.

The everyone ran a car rented from this place people they're good customer service and friendly friendly atmosphere

Booked a car three days in advance. Called one day prior and spoke to an agent at the Clinton Hwy branch. He stated they had my car and asked if I would like to be picked up. I said, Sure. He said he would pick me up at 9:30 a.m. No one showed up. I called the location at 10 a.m. and was placed on hold for 10 minutes, twice. The third time, they said, "No, we don't do pickups on Saturday, you'll have to find a way to get here." I told them who I was and that I had a reservation. They said they closed at 12 and I had to be there by 11:30. I finally found a ride and got there at 10:45 a.m. Guy behind the counter looks at me and says, "Sorry, we don't have any cars." I explained to him three times, and even pointed to my NAME on the board, and showed him the Reservation number/confirmation. He blankly looked at me three times and said, "We have no cars." NEVER USE THIS LOCATION, and I will never ever use this company again, ever.

No issues with this location. Not the largest selection but they did have what I reserved online. Car was in good shape and as expected. Would rent from here again.

Stephanie is amazing and wonderful. Her customer service is beyond meeting expectations! I appreciate her assistance and patience with us as we attempted to transfer vehicles due to issues with our current rental. The company as a whole .... not so much! We will never rent from Hertz again!
