Quiet & quaint. Clean and charming. Sweet down home hospitality. Stayed at the lodge 2 nights and ate breakfast both mornings at the bistro. Very good food too. We'll absolutely be back.

Beautiful room and wonderful accommodations. Staff was friendly and courteous. Breakfast was phenomenal. Quietest place I have ever stayed. We will definitely be back.

Went into today for a cut, color and style and walked out feeling like a new women.. Katie Jones was amazing, she gave detailed information on what product she was using and how they make my hair look and feel healthier. Her years of experience was defiantly showed in her work. Very proud and happy about my services today.. Will not go anywhere else.. forever loyal!!!

Hospitality is being able to accommodating guest of all experience levels. From the first time planners to the expert level planners and everyone in between. I was absolutely smitten by this cute lodge but I but I guess the saying, "don't judge a book by it's cover" still holds true to even event spaces. The women I spoke to was very sharp with her responses and her lack of care and helpfulness completely turned me off to planning any type of event here. I called to get a price range of their event space and what was included in that price, she admitted to tapping her fingers on the desk, impatiently waiting for me to give her more information. I have been planning events for a while and when I have asked for an average price they are able to provide one on the spot or POLITELY ask for more information. In a very irritated voice she she gave me a price and after the third time asking what was included in that price she was sassy in her response. I asked if she would send me an e-mail listing prices for spaces but instead of having the time to send that, she was able to respond to my e-mail requesting to speak to a manager. I give her credit though for being the ONLY ONE at the facility if she is the only one answering phones, sending e-mails, and being the manager, she implied to be. However, maybe she could use more assistance so guest can be properly taken care of.
Maybe I just got unlucky with the one staff member today, that seemed to be the only staff member. However, Customer service is the doorway to the experience in the future and the lack of customer service and hospitality provided, reveals that the experience probably is not going to be any better.
