Such a lovely surprise to find this traditional cafe! Nice menu, but do not order the cakes, we had dry, old ones that were barely eatable.

We love it, we have been there for breakfast a few times and the quality of the food was always great. The cafe itself is a real gem, very traditional with a high sealing and those wooden newspaper holders for easy reading. The only reason why I give 4* instead of 5* is that we always had to wait for a long time to just get the menu card.(and it wasn't because there were lots of people) at one time we waited for 10 minutes just to get the menu and then another 5 minutes for the waitress to take our order.. At the same time I have to say that the waitress was friendly and professional, it's just that you better be not in a hurry. We still will go there again..

This is one of the old traditional, but recently complete renovated, old Viennese coffee houses. They have a good selection of reasonable priced food and drinks. If you like to sleep long, breakfast is served all day long! There is a play corner for the kids with toys and books. For the warm summer days there is a large outdoor area. This place is worth a visit.

You should try to come here! The interior of this café has somehow miraculously been preserved in its traditional turn-of-the-century beauty. Coffee and food is ok. Last time, even the classic Viennese breakfast was decent. But it's mainly for its looks that this café is worth a detour.

The cafe is newly renovated by new owners. The old bridge and chess players have returned and the place has a good atmosphere. Several young aspiring writers come here to journal or work on their scripts. There is also a small play area for children. The "sweet meals" are good and very classic.
