Interesting but information displayed are very basic. Although it quickly paints the picture, I would have liked to know more. Nice photo opportunity, but not more than a 10 minute visit

Get a guide to explain everything about the monument. In this way one will be introduced to the people, history & proud culture of Botswana. Most of all you will learn about the great heritage of Botswana's leadership.

This a great monument documenting Botswanas pre-independence history. The main attraction is the 3 large statues of the dikgosi that went to London to meet the queen, however there are also smaller monuments of tribal and regional history. Guides are available at the gate and add on to the experience by interacting with guests and adding stories that you may not have known otherwise. It also serves as a public park where picnics and other small gatherings can be held. It is a small area that can be covered within an hour and makes for great pictures as it is located next to the new high court and i-towers (the tallest building in the country)

Absolutely loved it. A great reminder of Botswana's progress as a nation and the contributions of it's leaders at the time.

On the outskirts of the city centre. I did enjoy this place. At the time we went, the city was undergoing huge transformation; a lot of construction. I give it 3 to 5 years and this will be more marvelous and more of a bustling city.
