Excelent brazilian high-scale restaurant for "rodizio".
This is a "rodizio" restaurant with some high-end approach, with a salad entree, and the presentation of the rodizio as a tasting experience.
The room is very nice, and the employees very attentive. Regarding food, all the meat cuts were very good, but it is worth special mention the "costoleta gauncho", the "NB steaK" and the "low sirloin". A "must go" place.
A word of warning: it is reasonably expensive by brazilian standards (300 BR$ upwards for two), and there is no other menu choice than the rodizio.

The owner, Arri Coser, is renowned for the "Fogo de Chão" brand, which he and a brother built into a powerhouse - and then sold, a few years ago, to an investment group; when owned and managed by the brothers it was easily one of the best places for barbecue in Brazil (the quality now is a pale shadow of what it was during its heydays). However, this new restaurant chain is not up to his usual standards. The meat is not particularly tender (the top sirloin, a house specialty, was tough and stringy) and lacks salt - and therefore taste (yeah, we're all aware of the need to reduce sodium intake, but a Brazilian barbecue has to be seasoned with SOME coarse salt...). The waiters are nice, and service is good, but altogether a disappointing experience, mainly when you consider the owner's background. My second and probably last visit.

Very beautifully decorated, excluding the men's restroom. The service is prompt and attentive. Food is great- some dishes are just absolutely top notch: Brie salad, their beef ribs, the fried potatoes, the chicken hearts all were above and beyond.
They have an amazing wine cellar and some delicious deserts.
