One of the worst customer experiences ever! If I would have been able to provide a zero star I would have. Today, at 11 am on Sunday, November 5, 2017, I spent over 1/2 hour at the Kingsway Garden Mall, Merle Norman location, trying to return 2 items that were purchased on Friday. Instead of an easy experience, to my surprise, I was informed that returns over $100 come with great difficulty. I find it very interesting that when one is spending over $100 there is zero issues, but if a reaction occurs due to the product, the sales associates are not helpful and there is an issue. I was told that their register was acting up, and that a return would not be happening today, and that this is a common thing if the return is over $100. It was suggested that I spend the entire day at the mall waiting for a technician to resolve the issue. I was reassured that someone would call me back today, so this issue could be fixed, and I am yet to hear back. The sales associate told me to contact the owner if I was not happy, I didn't think this was my job nor appropriate. I am confused as to why this would be my responsibility, why didn't the sales associates contact the owner? I was dismissed and absolutely nothing was done to make me happy. So at the end of the day, I have products that I reacted too, that were not returned. My situation was not rectified, and as a consumer, I would strongly suggest that you don't support this business. I will definitely be taking my business else where, and never support this business again.
