UPDATE: I have adjusted my rating from 1 to 3 stars based on Spasations follow up with us. Although it took them a while to get in touch with me, eventually Spasations offered a free massage for my wife to make up for the poor service. The massage my wife received at the south side location was very good and it was nice to see the company step up and try to make things right. Although we did have problems with the Whyte Ave location, I'm not sure I can recommend them specifically, the service at the south location was quite good.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: I feel like a jerk reviewing a company this badly, but the whole experience has been terrible. Went here for a couples massage with my wife for valentine's day. It was a pretty lacklustre massage. My wife said hers was the worst she's ever had. She's had a LOT of massages so that's saying something. It was also the most expensive massage we've had. However, I don't like to talk poorly of people, and the therapists were very nice, so I was gonna keep my mouth shut. I wouldn't have left this review except for the fact that I'm about to contact them for the 4th time so I can get proper registration numbers so I can submit to my benefits. They can't seem to give me this information even though they must be asked this same damn question many times EVERY DAY! Very disappointed and starting to get really annoyed. First two times I arranged for them to email me the required info (cause they didn't have access to it over the phone). Never got an email. The third time they said they would call me on Monday with the information. Monday comes, no phone call. Well, now that I'm going to be contacting them for a 4th time I'm going to leave this review because the whole experience with Spasations on Whyte Ave was pretty terrible. Spend your money elsewhere, Alberta Momentum Massage and Conscious Karma have been good in our experience. EDIT: Having had the opportunity to have a massage at the south side location, I would also include Spasations south side in this list.

DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT GO HERE FOR LASER HAIR REMOVAL. I went for laser hair removal after buying a Groupon. I had six sessions. They were rushed and extremely rude, I had no consultation, they didn't ask questions about my medical history or if I'd tanned or waxed recently (if you look online, these are all MUSTS before a laser session, but I was at the time ignorant to this). Every time I went back and expressed my disappointment that I saw no results, they would just crank the laser to a higher setting, which only hurt my skin and still did nothing for the hair removal. After hundreds of dollars were spent, there's not even the slightest difference to my hair growth. Never returning, thanks for nothing.

Came in to get an eyelash tint for my birthday. It started out alright, I laid on the table and the procedure began. She applied the dye , and I couldn't open my eyes until it was over. Then, SHE LEFT THE ROOM! For like, 10 minutes. While she was gone, I had an allergic reaction and the dye literally began to burn my eyes. I couldn't get up, or room my eyes so I just laid there with my eyes burning.
Finally she came back and washed it off. My eyes were red and swollen and my eyelashes weren't even tinted.
SOOOOOO disappointed. Will not be returning. Don't waste your money

I had a spa package as a gift. I was a little early and was shown around the facility. I was then given a complimentary steam as an opener.
I had a 45 min massage and it was nice and relaxing. The therapist asked about the pressure to make sure I was comfortable.
I had a manicure and pedicure. It was as expected.
Maybe my only issue was the technician was waiting at the front while I was paying. It's like when a waitress waits while you decide on the tip....
Other than that, I would go again as Karen the General Manager was fabulous and the experience was great.

I was there a few months ago for a couples massage with my girlfriend and had the nicest employee Brandi F. She made us feel very welcomed with her attitude and professionalism it was a great massage and we felt like we were in a top notch spa for the day while we got out of the cold weather. I just recently went in to get a new receipt printed for my insurance company and Karen Williams the general manager was more then helpful and very kind. She got what I needed instantly and made the experience with Spasation that much better. All in all I would recommend this location to any and all my friends and family as I have had such a great experience myself and will happily be back. Thanks again Karen and Brandi for your hospitality.
