Great location for seeing Montreal, walking distance from many great spots. The rooms are mediocre and poorly laid out. Do not get a room with a sofa bed unless your spine is immune to terrible sleep. The housekeeping doesn't do a great job. Wouldn't stay here again. Airbnb has better, nicer options.

Clean room. Unique style. Dark and mysterious vibe. The location is right in the middle of the art district. And at the cusp of Chinatown. Perfect for events in walking distance, or a cab ride of no more than 10 min, for nightlife 🌃

It's nice you are provided with a kitchenette (at least my room had one) and plates/bowls besides just cups. However, the gym needs equipment - they do not have dumbbells.
The location is perfect: everything I needed was minutes a 5-10 minutes walk.

One of the best hotel experiences I've ever had. We showed up in the middle of the night completely stressed after an emergency with our Air BnB, and had booked a room with them online before we arrived for the wrong day. The staff were so friendly, generous, and helpful with next to no questions asked other then "how can we help?" Not to mention the room, atmosphere, and the lounge were spectacular. Good prices for a hotel in this area, anytime I come back to Montreal I will come back to Hotel Zero1. I can safely say they saved our vacation from catastrophe.

Rooms are clean and service was very quick and friendly. All workers spoke English and French. The location is very strategic if you are planning on doing a lot of sightseeing and shopping. It's facing across the big entrance into Chinatown, and if you go in the opposite direction, you are just a short block from Place de Arts metro station. This metro station is in the area where there are lots of cafe's and restaurants, as well as prime location for art and music performances. The price was reasonable. The only down side for me was that the walls in the halls are black and the elevator is small, which made it a little gloomy for my taste, but I guess for others it's got that ultra-modern artsy feel to it. We didn't eat in the restaurant, but the food is rated well and it was always busy from breakfast to cocktail hour. There is also a little hallway off the side of the front desk that leads to a convenience store which I think is open until midnight. The plus is if you need some snacks or personal items, you don't have to go outside to get there...rain, snow, etc.
