Emphasis on 'petit' (small) plates, however exceptionally tasty and hyper-local selection of charcuterie boards. Great atmosphere to hang out with (a few!) friends.

Thursday afternoon after 4pm oysters and sparkling white or a kir royale I could be at my local brasserie in Paris but I am in Paris, as Verushka said in Blow-Up and get to hang out with my friends after sauntering down Water Street. Rollie and Shannon are the publicans who understand the welcome and the discretion of hospitality. A big reason why I am staying put.

I'm not sure why there is any negative comments here. The decor is lovely, the staff is very attentive and the food is exceptional.
