I generally like most people, but just did not like this doctor. I felt very uncomfortable with him, and just had a bad feeling about him. I found him quite dismissive and oddly pushy even when I simply tried to explain my problem. I really felt like he didn't listen at all. It was the older neurologist that I saw.

My family doctor set up an appointment with Dr. Shawush for chronic headaches, when I arrived there he took one look at me, dismissed all previous medical reports, told me the headaches were just allergies and gave me a prescription for Ibuprofen. 3 months later I was in the hospital with Gastritis, the Naproxen ate away my stomach lining. I was referred to another Neurologist whom set up an MRI like Dr. Shawush should have. I had swelling in my brain which was causing the headaches and damaging my motor skills. Dr. Shawush dismissed me because I was under 35, and not completely helpless. I will never, excuse his arrogance, and whenever I am asked about neurologists (I work in the medical field), I tell them whatever they decide, to never consider him. Especially if the people inquiring are under 40.

Botched surgery on my elbow - couldn't use my arm for 7 weeks - massive internal bleeding. Took 10 minutes to do the cutting while other surgeons tell me it should have taken 45 minutes. Stay away from this man!

Seen Dr. Shawush for the first time, a very pleasant, polite man. He's a caring professional Dr.
I was reluctant to see him because of some reviews, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. He will be my surgeon to replace my knee.
