This restaurant might be the loneliest branch of all Royalhost series. If you wanna find a restaurant without a lot of people in this district, that's the place. But the food could be better.

Royal Host Restaurant
Had a tasty and cozy lunch with family of five on Jan. 30, 2017 there. The place was bright, neat, clean furniture, and very pleasant overall atmosphere; the waiters polite, quick and efficient. It was located very close to the Beitou Metro Station on the south side. To get to the Thermal Valley, a tourist attraction nearby, takes only a 20-minute walk from the restaurant, if one knows the way. Also, there are Bus #230 at the Beitou Metro Station that will take people conveniently up to and down from the Yangmingshan National Park in 30 minutes one way.

I'd give this a 3 and half (between ok and liked it). Bit old could do with being refurbished, food not bad and tasted fresh, service was fast. Drink selection not great though, not many options and a bit out of the can/packet.
