It used to be quite ok but the quality has decreased a lot lately. The order concept makes me feel rushy all the time and the cooks are not always helpful to help me pick the ingredients I want. The foods are very greasy and most of the time tasteless. Seeing foods being prepared in front of me can get me into thinking that they are fresh. But if the foods themselves are not good, then no trick is enough to bring me back.

I've been here 2 times, first time for pizza, second time for risotto and dessert. They have quite interesting concept where you choose your food at the kitchen and the chef would make it right there. It's nice to see your food being made. They also ask for your preference when adding certain ingredients.
The staffs are friendly and helpful. Price is reasonable. Interior design is pretty nice and green, with a lot of plants.
For dessert, we had their panna cotta and chocolate cake, both were very nice and rich.
I was not a big fan of the risotto, though it's just my own taste preference.
Bartender didn't seem to know how to make gin and tonic.

Vapiano serves delicious pasta and pizzas. It is very popular and is always full of people. Quality of food is excellent. Ambiance is very good. Staff is friendly and cheerful. Highly recommended for Asians who are looking for spicy food around Helsinki central station.

Vapiano is simply an amazing restaurant! You get to see the chefs make your food at the counter, and the dishes are more than delicious. The atmosphere is cozy and it is a really special experience that you can pick your own basil for your dish at the table. You might stand in line for a while, but it's definitely worth it.

First experience at the Vapiano chain started here and was great! Pasta made right in front of your eyes with lots of options and fresh ingredients. Just remember not to lose the card else there is charge of 75 Euros - so take only one card amongst all in a family!
