Great pub near the Westbury Hotel. Spacious and a bit loud. Pints are good value compared to others within vicinity. Excellent after-work pub to start your session off right.

It might be an Ok place during the day, I don't know. This review is based on what it's like on a weekend night. On the ground floor it was jammed packed with people. There was hardly room to turn on your heel.
However, the worst thing was the attitude of the staff. None of them were particularly friendly. But I found one of the barmen in particular extremely arrogant. At one point It took me an hour to get served with a Guinness. The reason being he passed me over twice for not saying "please" before I finally realised what was going on.... and he did it all with a smirk.
Of course you should always say please and thank you, but to keep a customer waiting that long without telling them why, just to make a point, is completely unnecessary and unprofessional.
I was there with two friends who were visiting from abroad neither of whom I'd seen in 2 years. The experience was humiliating. To see others who I was at the bar ahead of, getting served before me! And it really marred my night because I lost that time with my friends. I haven't been back to Bruxelles since and I don't intend to. Ever.

I absolutely adore this pub. My go to if I'm.drinking with mates in town. I love the basement bit with the little alcove Philomena's. Amazing for groups and great staff

Traditional Irish Pub with great ambience. However, I was looking for q different kind of place. If you are under 30 years old, I will suggest you visiting other different places. It worth a visit if you are travelling to Dublin for a short period. Cheers!

Great pub to drop into when u get fed shopping. Attracts a lot of tourists but if you wait about you will get a seat in a short time. Has several different areas to cater for different tastes. Foods good, atmosphere friendly especially during the day and afternoon. Gets busy and loud at night.
Has statue of Phil Lynott outside where fans lay flowers and musicians leave guitar plectrums. A nice tradition and tribute to a great man.
