Super knowledgeable with a great selection of sakes. His tasting notes approachable and on point. I loved how each sake got it's open unique glass.

Such a great variety of sake, served with care, knowledge, and appreciation.

Sit down at the bar, say how many drinks you think you'd like, and let the rice wine flow. From clear sweet varities to sherry-like aged sake, there seems to be a little of everything.

You won't find a sake bar like it. The owner can guide you through sake tasting. Sakes with a huge amount of flavour, sakes that are decades old... He's an interesting guy to chat to as well.

not sure what the big fuss about this place is. just another normal bar. barman isn't all that everybody cracks him up to be. I had much more fun in central Kyoto in the much smaller bars. Each to their own I guess.
