Definitely try out Gram, they make the best pancakes ever and don't forget to check the times before heading over, certain pancakes are only available at specific times.

HEP FIVE Ferris wheel It was really fun.
But there were so many people that I had to run for about 40 minutes.
You can board it alone.

Seems more like a tourist trap then anything. Worth going up and taking a spin in the wheel only with the two day Osaka station pass. I would skip and do your shopping elsewhere as well.

When you are in Osaka's Umeda district, you cannot see any "park" but not the big red Ferries wheel at the big shopping mall. If you do not take the Ferries wheel up-and-down ride costing 500 Yen per adult, your experience there might not be complete. Even you are afraid of height, the many red supporting bars of the wheel and the car make you feel safe during the slow and steady but breathtaking ride!
