Nice ryokan in the heart of Tokyo, near Ueno and Akihabara, with plenty of stations within walking distance that cover about a dozen different lines. The place looks and feels old, but that's part of it's charm in a way, if you want a modern hotel then this isn't the place for you. A typical Japanese breakfast is always included, the room prices are very low considering you're next to some tourist-oriented locations and all sorts of amenities are included: anyukata for sleeping, bath sets and hot baths on the top floor, all for free

Non friendly, didn't want to help us book a bus ticket by phone. They tried to avoid helping us as much as they can. Don't recommend

Big and comfortable Japanese style room. The reception was perfect, and the onsen is available for men and women (separated). The one for men includes a sauna. Recommended. PS. The receptionist is a very kind woman that speaks good Spanish

The best Ryokan I've ever visited!
No small children, and free breakfast. (Children are allowed, but they rarely book here)
There is also free wifi, a very comfortable lounge and a tea cermony room.
Plus an outdoor bath on the 6:th floor and a balcony where you can enjoy the beautiful night sky.
