One of the worst saunas I've ever been. I visited the place on a Saturday night in early August. Thè only place you can see who is around you is the jacuzzi. The big cruising maze is so dark that you can't see where you are going. It's impossible to cruise if you want to know how the people you touch look like. It makes sense though since the crowd is not so hot...I'd have rather gone for a walk in the city.
The place is clean though.

I visited Trompeta on August 3, 2017. I found this place a bit too dark and underground... at check in, you don't even see the face of the guy assisting you....some of the facilities are good, including the jacuzzi by the bar, but there are way too many cubicles with beds that nobody uses and that occupy a large portion of the total space. In the dark labyrinth you cannot see virtually anything or anybody - what's the point, then? I understand that some guys want anonymity, but seriously, it's dark in there! It lacks spaces for men to interact in groups, and to actually see each other, with the exception of a small cinema room and jacuzzi. Guys are constantly walking around in circles, not knowing what to do or where to go to, and that can be enervating. Also, men are allowed to smoke by the bar, so, constant tobacco smoke everywhere. I had some fun there, but a bit more illumination and places for socialization/group encounters would make the space much more appealing.

Take ID if you are under 36 and entry is only 9 euro. The staff were very friendly. We went on bank holiday Monday and it was very busy. We also went the next day and it seems it is much quiter midweek. There was a mix of different types. The facilities were good and clean. The private rooms weren't used as much as the maze/dark room area but this was too pitch black for us. Condoms and lube only seemed to be available in the cafe area and not in the private rooms or dark room so you had to carry them with you which wasn't ideal. Overall, it was a good sauna with nice guys.
