Always enjoy eating here with family and friends. Nice venue with lovely food and service. Only con i can think of is utility maintenance. The ladies toilet door locks were broken and no loo roll. Outside of restaurant could do with a clean up to make it more appealing. Other than that can't really fault this restaurant

Amazing food, great service. Ordered 2 starters and one main between two people. The quantity of the starters themselves was so much and so delicious that we took the mains to go. The service was really friendly and fast too despite it being really busy on a Saturday evening. Would recommend Akbar's to anyone in Birmingham!

Booked a table for 5 people, only to be told on arrival that they only accept bookings over 10 people???? Why take our booking then???? Waited for an hour in the end.
Very busy Saturday night, a very noisy Saturday night, but you've got to expect that in a 300+ seater restaurant I suppose.
Food was very good, very authentic, the clientele was testament to this.
Ghandi the waiter was excellent and extremely polite. Would go again, but not on a Friday or Saturday.

I'll start with good side: It has it's own car park and it's reasonable priced. Clean toilets. And that's it. Sadly there's no more positives and main thing which is food simply is not of restaurant quality, you can get better at the decent buffet place. And for some reason they don't list normal drinks on the menu just the expensive moctails.

Very helpful and attentive staff.

The food, on the other hand, wasn't that good. Most meals were oily and salty. I think they can improve on their baltis.

The atmosphere was good with amazing decor.
