The modern Spirtalfields E1, with glass covered rooftops sits right next to the former market. Plenty of food and cafes in the area, considering the number of offices in the area.
The original market that had existed before. This confused the hell out of me, because it’s called Old Spitalfields Market because there’s a new Spitalfields Market outside Central London now. The new Spitalfields shopping next to the Old Spitalfields Market isn’t called New Spitalfields but Spitalfields E1. Oh wow confusing like hell. In any case, don’t let that go to your mind. Have a pint and enjoy walking around nevertheless.
