An unashamedly "old school" style city "boozer", tucked away down on Queens Street (behind the Cathedral).
Not the broadest range of cask ales (based on recent visits) - BUT what they did have on offer was excellent, along with a good atmosphere (and plenty of fun on offer courtesy of a pool table to the right side and seemingly regular karaoke nights too).
If you're a fan of trends and mod-cons don't expect to find many (or any..) of them here - but for me, it's actually the general lack of these that makes The Three Cranes so appealing. It doesn't pretend to be anything that it isn't - and is all the more welcoming as a result. Definitely recommended (and I mean all of those comments in a positive sense).
