Loved my visit here, thoroughly enjoyed my lunch with a very nice glass of rose, but unfortunately, left my handbag and did not realize until I was back in Durham. However, the staff were wonderful and I had it back(only because the staff had wrapped it up and taken it to the post office) within a week. Blooming marvelous, thanks so much staff,cannot praise you and your pub enough. Xxx

Had a fab time for my 50th birthday. Guy and the rest of the staff couldn't have done anymore, they went out of their way to provide a great serivce. The food was really lovely and nicely presented. I would defiantly recommend this pub for a celebration.

Typical British pub. Good beer, good food. Not too expensive as for pub in city centre.
