Spa Cát Tiên

Having just arrived in Viet Nam for a work trip of six weeks, one of my first missions was to find my local spa. I looked at Trip Advisor, but I figured why not ask the locals since there were only a few places listed (this not being one of them). Luckily for me, my hostess here in Can Tho is also a huge massage fan and offered to take me to her favorite spot - Spa Cat Tien. I was not disappointed. I had an hour-long back massage (150,000VD) and an hour long facial (250,000VD). Back massage included various techniques (oil, hot stones, this incense thing that I had never heard of) and was simply amazing. Facial somehow managed to equal it! I had no clue why it was more expensive (not that 10 euro is expensive) or so long, but it was well worth it! It had a zillion steps (thus the hour) including cleansing, steaming, moisturizing....the list goes on. And whenever they leave something on your face they massage your body. I'll definitely be back - next time for the full body.
