The chips had that old oil taste that lingers at the back of your throat for hours and were fried at high temperature which left them somewhat undercooked on the inside. The counter is a bit of a disturbing presentation, with some soggy old looking prebattered fillets sweating into the glass, which is at odds with the "fresh fish" advertised on their sign. On the plus side there's no queues.

Best take away in all of stockton. Great service and friendly staff. Would highly recommend :)
