Not my kind of joint. Food was okay but not great. Beer selection was poor. Reasonably exxy for what you get.

Great atmosphere and really attractive looking place. Great drinks to satisfy most conousours, BUT the food is a bit underwhelming. I had the Roasted Root Vegetable Salad and was fairly disappointed. It was $23 but the size of a side salad! It wasn't bad, though i did get a few "crunchy" bits of what I assume was sand. More veggies, and maybe some nuts, seeds or beans and I would have been happy.

Great food (lamb shank pie) prepared quickly despite a busy Friday night. Bar served quickly with no wait time. Clean upmarket pub. Good choice of music. Prices comparative with a decent selection. Definitely will return.
Took off one star because the music was slightly loud that it made holding a conversation difficult and one bench seat was wet, hopefully that was rain water.., from two days ago

Don't give 5 star lightly but the staff here were superb recently when we needed to be fed quickly for a show on down the road at the Astor. The restaurant manager was all over it...organizing for us to be seated at a very busy time, the meals came out quickly and were all delicious...all this with a smile form every employee we engaged with. Would I recommend? Hell yeh...
