The location is absolutely spectacular, just wow! Service was excellent however the food was quite disappointing. We went with their full course menu but on hindsight we should have just ordered a la carte. I would like to give Chateau Eza a lower rating due to the food but the setting is just amazing and we were seated at one of the best tables.

Incredible view of the hills and ocean from the outside patio hanging on the cliff side. I only had a cocktail there (not dinner). The old town of Eze is a nice stroll past shops through narrow, medieval streets, making Chateau Eza a nice stop after a day of strolling and shopping.

Chateau Eze is absolutely gorgeous! The views are spectacular and there great shops all along the streets up to the hotel. It's at the top of a very tall hill so there's a bit of a climb up to the top but the views of both the coast and the hills further inland are well worth it. There is also a beautiful chapel and a "secret" garden with exotic plants, amazing sculptures, and more spectacular views. Visiting the village itself and all it has to offer is the perfect way to spend an afternoon. It's almost as if you're in a set for the next Disney movie! The restaurant itself is amazing all on its own. There's a bar for cocktails, and plenty of seating/lounging areas that overlook the coast line. At night, the view is made even more gorgeous by all of the lights from the small towns and port cities dotting the coast. On a clear night, you can see all the way up the coast to Saint Tropez. The food is delicious, and the service is impeccable, as well. I didn't stay in the rooms on this particular occasion, but I have before and they are also simply stunning. The insides are beautifully decorated and you can walk out on to your balcony (with a Jacuzzi) and gaze out over the ocean. I could have literally sat there all day. The prices are a little high, but you are paying for a lot of luxury, and you get an excellent value for your money. I definitely intend to return, as soon and as often as possible.
