This place is continuing to go downhill in terms of quality despite the extensive remodel they did a few years ago. I would give it a miss.

Bad service and experience ever in my life. Not worthy of even 1 star. They ruined my night in Paris. The server who is welcoming at the door lady named 'Eve' is stupid as shi*. And the manager also had rude.
Here is what I really experienced. I had called several times to checked my reservation for my very important dinner meeting. BUT I got my reservation canceled when I arrived there even though they had said 'okay, it's well confirmed'.
They said that they called me 1 hour before I arrived but they canceled my reservation because I didn't pick up their phone call. I swore to God never gotten any phone calls from them. So I made them to called me in front of me but their phone didn't work well. It's OBVIOUSLY their fault.
What kind of service is that? And what kind of policy is this? I asked them to prove their polices or giving me any other options. I had 6 companies and the seats were all booked. Wasn't easy to find another restaurant.
So ridiculous. I had called them several times to confirm my reservation and I just didn't pick up one phone call(which I never gotten) and they 'JUST' cancel? I've never had this kind of experience before. Stupid attitude, service and displeasing experience. Or was it 'racism' that I was a foreigner? Huh.
Anyways.. If you still want to go here, then hold your phone 24/7 or called them every hour to check up your reservation. I would not never ever come back or recommend here.

This restaurant is awesome!
Every single dish we order was delicious.
The decoration is simple but elegant.
The service was fine.
I'll definitely recommend it thousand times!

Good food. Pretty good and fast service. It was close to our hotel. They also open late which is nice. Most restaurants closed on Sunday, thankfully, Kinugawa is open. I will definitely come here again. You can get your typical Japanese dishes here and they do have good cooked food.
