I have visited numerous branches of Maredo across Germany and so I didn't think twice about visiting Maredo Steakhouse Aachen whilst in the city. On my first visit I was disappointed that the table service was slow despite the restaurant being quiet. I gave Maredo Steakhouse Aachen the benefit of the doubt and returned a few evenings later. Unfortunately, the service was much worse - staff chatting with each other instead of attending to customers. There were a couple of errors with our order that, although minor in themselves, only demonstrated that staff were not fully focused on customers. I appreciate that staff can become bored on quiet nights but that should be no excuse for inattentive customer service. I rarely give negative feedback but my experience fell well short of what I normally receive from Maredo restaurants in other cities. I hope the local management will accept my comments and use them to make some positive changes to the customer experience.

Food was O.K. Portions were small comparing to other steak houses. It feels more like fast food chain than restaurant. A bit too commercial.
