The dorm and the washrooms weren't the cleanest but it was just about doable. We stayed there for just the one night even though we were supposed to stay there for 2 nights. Staff was very friendly, but they have to ensure that the dorm has to be cleaner.

If you're looking for an extreme experience in Berlin that's your place. I want there twice cause it's cheap and I'm a good location (20 minutes walking to warschauerstr). The first time I was with a group of friends and we had a room just for us, it was April and we were not the only tourists guest...last time I was just with a friend, we booked two beds in a big room and it was tragic..I didn't feel comfortable and sometimes neither safe..
Talking generally baths are terrible, couldn't use hot (neither warm) water and also the room was cold.

I have been to many hostels in my life, i travel a lot, but this one is by far the worst ive been to.
some of the staff is nice but some others are not.
the dorms are gloomy, graffitis everywhere, mattresses that are dirty, very uncomfortable, the toilets and showers are dirty, even public toilets are way better.
but the worst are definitely the people that stay there, when we were there, a lot of the customers were junkies or homeless people, or at least thye looked like it, one of them smelled extremely bad, our whole dorm smelled like a homeless persons feet, some of the other people were a bit scary, there was a very bad atmosphere because of that.
i will never stay there again and wille never recommend it to anyone

super chill. Cheap and very clean with a nice hippie vihe and friendly staff. The place is near the main clubs, nice shops and solid restaurants and bars.
100% would recommend
