They have a wide variety of good dishes, it's very cheap with good service and you get a nice amount of food for the price. It's of course not the fanciest place in Berlin, but if you are hungry you can never go wrong with Tonkin. Oh and they have free WiFi.

Friendly service from North Vietnam. Top notch pho for 3-4 EUR. The salad and summer rolls (3 EUR) were very good. However the fried spring rolls were the smaller Chinese ones rather than the longer luscious Vietnamese. They forgot to serve us the traditional tea to the dinner, but apologized and didn't charge us for it. The tea tasted great and was served in a very beautiful kettle. I'm living with a Vietnamese chef so I have some experience on the food culture. :)

Wonderful small restaurant which we go back to again and again.
Lately they upgraded the menu a bit which is great.
Don't miss the Wan Tans.
