Slow service. We entered the restaurant at 18.30. It was quite empty inside although the rear terrace was full. Ordered fish soup which came after a reasonable wait, and two pizzas (this is an Italian restaurant after all). The tables next to us an either side filled up and ordered, and were served two courses while we still waited 2 hours for 2 pizzas, which when they eventually arrived were soggy in the middle. One was finished with a cranberry sauce straight from the fridge which did nothing to enhance the experience and chilled the pizza quickly. It is nine years since we last visited Vetro, our next visit will take even longer!
