The changing of the guard in front of the Parliament was impressive. The building is best viewed from the Danube but up front is nice as well. The underground museum was sobering and interesting just off the plaza that details Hungarian recent history.

This a public square with amazing architecture. In the same time are not so much tourists.

One of the best public squares I have ever visited. Clean, safe even at 11:00 pm at night, not too crowded, beautifully landscaped, modern yet blending seamlessly with historic buildings surrounding it. Perfect place to sit and enjoy the view of the beautiful buildings around it.
