We enjoyed our stay here, breakfast was mediocre and was the same each day. Rooms were clean and tidy and the room safe was an added bonus. The location is great and is just a short walk to the bus terminal key attractions and good restaurants.
Staff speak good English and are very friendly and helpful. The bar at the back of the hotel isn't advertised but it is very pleasent and the price of drinks is reasonable.
Only downside we found is that you can hear the traffic outside the window of the room which is hard to escape in Rome and we could hear the people in the room next door. They seemed to be having a good time!
Would recommend the hotel and for the price we paid was very reasonable and as you'd expect

Great small budget hotel

Very old hotel that has been renovated. Breakfast was decent. Rooms only had power outlets by the desk and none by the beds.

This hotel had a beautiful room, with nice receptionists, and a hot breakfast. It also had an elevator that went up the middle of a winding staircase. The bed was a memory foam mattress, which was pretty fantastic, and the bathroom had both a tub and separate shower. The reception was generally not very open to offering suggestions for specific restaurants, except for one guy, who was very eager to help us out and gave some pretty amazing suggestions.
There does seem to be no easy to keep housekeeping from cleaning your room daily. There is a button to press on your door that makes this red light blink, but they seem to completely ignore this light. Even if you are in the room, with the red light blinking, they will knock, then carefully come in. If you tell them no, they leave only to have the front desk call you to make absolutely sure that you don't want your room cleaned. It felt like a sort of funny losing battle. Overall, it was a great place to stay with some quirks.

This hotel was great, especially for the price. I see a lot of 3 star hotels in Rome that manage to masquerade as 4 star, but this one really should be a 4 star. My room was clean and cool, and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. I was only here for a few nights, but it was easily one of the best hotel experiences I've had here.
